Shopping centre chooses Dimplex

A designer shopping centre in Belfast has installed Dimplex heat curtains to help keep its customers warm.

The Outlet shopping centre uses the Dimplex products to create an invisible barrier of air, which keeps warm or cold air in rooms that have high footfall, reports Plumbing HVAC.

Euan Forbes, operations manager at the Outlet, told the site: "We pride ourselves on providing an enjoyable high-quality shopping experience for our visitors … The Dimplex equipment does this very effectively by keeping treated air inside even when doors are open."

Several firms in the centre have installed the equipment from Dimplex, which also makes a wide range of electric fires, to help them reduce draughts and keep their stores comfortable for browsers.

The firm produces air curtains of different strengths, with the Outlet's stores opting for either the CAB or DAB range, which are designed to be installed above busy doors.

Dimplex manufactures other product to keep businesses and households comfortable, including towel rails, radiators, heat pumps and solar water heating.
