Versatile Installation features
The MX Low Profile Shower Tray can be converted to an upstand shower tray by the use of the Versatile Seal Strips (available as an optional extra below).

VERSATILE SEAL STRIP
 The Versatile Seal Strip will instantly transform any standard Shower
Tray to an upstand option.
The Versatile Seal Strip is an extruded self-adhesive UPVC upstand that
is fixed by hand to the Shower Tray prior to installation. Available in three lengths, this extruded strip comes complete
with a mould-resistant cushioned seal to ensure a snug fit, which combined
with the unique angled design helps ensure a water tight seal between the
Tray and the wall. The slim profile of the upstand allows easy tile fixing.
To fit the size of Tray simply mitre the lip with two 45º cuts then bend
to form corner. Check the Versatile Seal Strip fits the Tray then mark the
excess length and trim with a sharp knife. A small bead of silicon on the
internal mitred corner before tiling will ensure a waterproof seal. Utilising
the Versatile Seal Strip (see above) great flexibility can be achieved for
tiling and installation. |
