Timeswitches and Programmers

The following timeswitches and programmers are for use on heating only or heating and hot water appliances.

To control both hot water and heating on an appliance you will need a 2 channel programmer / timeswitch

To control only heating or only hot water you will need a single channel programmer / timeswitch

Generally a normal programmer would be used in conjunction with a room thermostat to control a heating zone or cylinder thermostat to control the hot water circuit, or on its own if no temperature control is required. A programmer works on the ON / OFF Principle
