Electronic infra-red taps release water on the detection of movement, and are very popular in commercial premises for hygiene purposes. Because you do not need to touch this tap, the spreading of germs becomes a much harder task. Go Eco with Infra-Red Taps
Once found only in hotel and office washrooms, the infra-red tap is now a practical choice for schools, healthcare, public washrooms and homes alike. You don't need to touch the tap with dirty hands: pass your hand in front of the sensor and the water starts, then stops on its own, which saves water too. The temperature is preset, so it is never too hot or too cold.
