Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be simpler. Simply follow the instructions on your screen, or if you prefer call our technical sales team on 0871 272 2222 and press option 1 for sales. The sales team will be only too happy to assist you in your purchase.

Once you have placed your order with us, you will receive immediately by return, an email on your computer with your customer account number, the description of goods that you have purchased and a VAT invoice. Then, within approximately 48 hours of placing your order you will be notified by email as to the approximate delivery date of your order.



Personalised goods or goods made to a consumer specification cannot be returned or cancelled. Please consider this carefully before placing your order. Examples of such a situation would be:

Price Match Guarantee
We work extremely hard to bring you the lowest possible prices on the internet on all of our products and we back this up with our price match guarantee. Find the same product elsewhere on the internet for less money, then simply call our sales team on 0871 272 2222 and press option 1 for sales. Inform the sales team that you have found the same product on another website. You will need to supply our sales team with the web address for us to check. We will endeavour to offer a better deal, or at least match the price. Please note - this does not include internet auction sites.

The product must be exactly the same as we are selling. Please bear in mind that some other sites don't always tell you abut their delivery charges or handling fees. All our products are delivered free of any charge on all orders over £22.00. "We have no hidden charges".

Prices
We retain the right to make adjustments to the pricing on this site to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices, the imposition of any taxes or duties. Or if due to an error omission, the price published for the goods is incorrect regardless of the status of the order.

Payment
Payment can be made using all major credit cards with the exception of American Express. If you are a Council, Limited Company or Sole Trader, we can send you a pro forma invoice so you can make payment to us. Please call our accounts department if this method would suit you better. Shipping And Handling

Mainland UK - Delivery quoted is to any single UK mainland address only, using a one-man delivery to ground floor locations only. Delivery is FREE on all orders over £22.00.

Guernsey or Jersey - Deliveries will command a 10% Surcharge on your total order. We will contact you after making your purchase to organise payment of this 10% Surcharge.

Scotland - There may be an extra charge for some deliveries made to the more remote locations in Scotland, please call for further details before placing your order. You can always email our customer services team on support@heatandplumb.com or call them on 0871 272 2222. - and Press Extention 2

The majority of our smaller parcel deliveries are handled by Parcel Force. Where fragile or large bulky items are being delivered we will arrange delivery by a dedicated delivery vehicle to ensure the products arrive safely and undamaged.

On arrival, all goods must be inspected carefully for any signs of damaged or shortage by the customer, or your approved agent at the delivery address given at the time of placing your order. Please take your time and inspect the goods before signing the delivery note. In the unlikely event that you do find any damage or shortage, please ask the driver to take the goods back with them, or sign the delivery document as damaged.

Please open all the boxes or parcels as soon as they arrive. You have 7 days to notify www.heatandplumb.com of any damage. If we are not notified of damage within this time, you agree to indemnify www.heatandplumb.com in full against any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 7 days. So please open all boxes and check your goods, as we really do want you to have a great shopping experience with us.

Please do not install your product if it is damaged, as once it is installed you have agreed to it being in good condition.

Please have your unique customer reference number available when contacting us, it makes locating your details that much easier and faster for you. Please ensure that you give us the correct delivery address at the time of ordering your goods, as changing delivery address can cause major logistical problems resulting in time delays. Sometimes even having to recall goods from our carriers back to our warehouse, in order to re-package and re-send them. Changing delivery addresses will in some circumstances be chargeable at £15.00 + VAT to cover administration costs.


Delivery Schedule

Most items are despatched to the customer within 2-5 working days of your order being received. Where a product is not in stock or is on an extended delivery period, we will email you to advise on an anticipated delivery date.
Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late or delayed deliveries. Please do not book your plumber or installer before you receive the goods.


Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will place a back order for you. You will always be emailed and informed about any delays. You have the option to wait if you are happy to do so, or you have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait, the choice is yours.


Tax Charges

Orders from www.heatandplumb.com are subject to UK VAT at 17.5%. All prices shown with and without VAT to make prices totally clear to everyone. We consider all prices should be clear and easy to read.

Any returns received back without a valid returns number or the correct paperwork will result in a delay processing your return.
If any item has any faults or manufacturing defects on delivery, it will be replaced at our expense.

Changed Your Mind?
You may withdraw from this agreement at any time up to 7 days after we have delivered the goods to you. If we have delivered the goods, you must not have used them and must have kept them in the condition as they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost.

The goods must be returned to us in perfect condition as delivered, with the original undamaged packaging. You should not write anything on the product packaging as the product will not be in a saleable condition and you will not be refunded.

If you are returning the goods it is recommended that you take out insurance against damage or if the goods go missing. Please ensure you wrap the parcel up in an outer box, this way the display or original box will not get damaged.

If you wish to return the goods more than 7 days after we have delivered them to you, this would be at our discretion and up to a maximum of 30 days. You must not have used the goods and must have kept them in the condition they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost. There may be an additional administration charge of up to 35% of the purchase price of the goods returned. Please inspect your goods upon arrival.

We will reimburse any amounts you have paid to us within 30 days of return of the goods, having deducted any return costs and administration fee if applicable.
