Sliding Shower Doors
In general, a sliding shower door is longer than the majority of other door mechanisms, as it includes a fixed panel that the door can slide in to. A sliding door offers many benefits over other similar mechanisms, namely that the door does not project out from the enclosure at any point, making it suitable even when depth is an issue. The main drawback to a sliding shower door is the entry width of the enclosure; it will be smaller than most other shower doors due to the fixed panel impeding the entrance.
