Delphi Fathom Brushed Brass High Rise Tall Mono Basin Mixer Tap
A countertop bowl lifts the water level well above the worktop, which leaves an ordinary basin mixer aimed at the rim instead of into the bowl. The Fathom high rise version answers that with a 271mm square column and 225mm of clearance from the base plate up to the spout outlet, plus a 149mm reach that carries the water out towards the middle of the bowl rather than down the back of it. The detailing is unchanged from the standard height model - mitred corners, a flat blade spout, a paddle lever on a chamfered housing and a slim rectangular base plate - so the two can be used in the same room without looking like different ranges. Brushed brass gives that long column a softer, warmer sheen and stops the extra height reading as cold.
