The Impey Tilesafe Tanking Membrane 10m² Kit is an easily applied self-adhesive waterproof membrane with an integrated tiling mesh that works on wood, masonry, concrete or plasterboard. It forms a tough, totally watertight structure onto which tiles can be fixed and is guaranteed not to leak.
How Does Tilesafe Work?
Waterproofing or ‘tanking’ a wetroom involves applying a waterproof layer to the floor of the shower zone, because no matter how well the tiles have been fixed, over time water will always find a way through the tiles which can lead to leaks and costly repairs.
Tilesafe is a flexible rubberised self-adhesive membrane sheet that comes on a roll and once applied there is no curing time so it is possible to fix the tiles the same day!

Please Note: Because Tilesafe is a bitumen-based product it is only suitable
for use with the Devimat 100 undertile heating system. Other systems
may run at higher temperatures and compromise the integrity of the
tanking system.
What type of tile adhesive should be used?
Any proprietary flexible tile adhesive can be used with the Tilesafe®
waterproofing system. Tile adhesive must be a single-part flexible
cement based adhesive.
Do NOT use a ready mix adhesive or epoxy based grout.
