Bathroom Mirrors
Choosing a bathroom mirror involves more than matching a size to a wall. From frameless LED mirrors with built-in demister pads to traditional framed designs and mirror cabinets with integrated storage, the right choice depends on your bathroom zone, your available space, and how the finish ties in with your taps and accessories. We stock 490+ bathroom mirrors from RAK Ceramics, Hudson Reed, Signature, Duravit, Villeroy & Boch and more - all with free UK delivery on most orders.

A Guide to Choosing a Bathroom Mirror
A bathroom mirror does more work than almost anything else in the room: it's where you start and end every day. Getting the size, position and features right makes a noticeable difference to how the space looks and functions.
Size and Position
Match the mirror to the room, not the other way round. In smaller bathrooms, a mirror close to the full width of your vanity unit will reflect more light and make the space feel larger. In bigger bathrooms, an undersized mirror over a large basin looks lost - don't be afraid to go bigger than feels natural. Most mirrors here are sold by height and width, so measure your wall space before you filter by size.
Solving Bathroom Shadows with Integrated Lighting
Illuminated mirrors solve a genuine problem: overhead bathroom lighting casts shadows that make shaving or applying make-up harder than it needs to be. A mirror with built-in LED lighting gives even, shadow-free light exactly where you need it, and uses a fraction of the energy of a traditional bulb. We stock touch sensor, motion sensor and Bluetooth-enabled models - browse our full illuminated bathroom mirror range to filter by brightness, colour temperature and switch type.
Demister Pads and Bathroom Safety
A demister pad is a thin heating element fitted to the back of the mirror that keeps the surface clear of condensation during and after a shower - no wiping required. If you're fitting an illuminated mirror near a bath or shower, check its IP rating: this tells you how protected the electrics are from water and determines which bathroom zone it can legally be installed in. Your plumber or electrician will be able to confirm the right IP rating for the mirror's position, but as a guide, anything within reach of the shower or bath should carry IP44 or higher. You can learn more about IP ratings in our guide.
Maximizing Wall Space with Hidden Storage
If you're short on storage as well as mirror space, a mirrored cabinet does both jobs in the same footprint. Many of our illuminated cabinets also include a shaver socket and integrated shelving, so toiletries and a clear mirror share one fixture rather than competing for wall space. Pair one with matching bathroom furniture for a coordinated finish.
Choosing a Finish
Mirror frames now come in the same finishes as your taps and accessories - chrome, brushed brass, matt black and brushed bronze are all in stock. Matching your mirror frame to your taps or door handles pulls a bathroom together without needing to coordinate every single fitting by eye.
