Delphi Dive Matt Black Bath Filler Tap
The Dive bath filler keeps everything low and wide: two slim pillars on their own rounded backplates, each capped with a flat blade lever, bridged by a spout that sits just 70mm above the bath deck. That spout is an open channel rather than an enclosed pipe, so the water runs along a visible trough and drops into the bath in a broad sheet instead of a jet. The matt black is flat and graphic, so the tap is read as an outline rather than a reflection, which is why it stands out most against white ceramic and pale worktops. Each handle turns on a quarter turn ceramic disc valve, going from off to fully open in a quarter of a rotation, which gives separate hot and cold control without the winding of an older compression tap. This is a high pressure fitting - 1.0 bar minimum, delivering 18.3 litres a minute at that pressure and 26.2 at 2 bar - so it fills quickly on a combi or unvented supply, while a gravity-fed tank would need a pump. Standard 180mm tap hole centres and 3/4 inch BSP connections suit the great majority of UK baths.
