Stripped of its backplate, this wall mixer is about as minimal as brassware gets: a flat chrome blade projecting 183mm from the tiling and a single upright lever on its own small flange beside it. With only 50mm standing proud of the wall it is the shallowest tap in the Edge range, which is worth knowing if the basin sits close underneath. Accurate pipe setting out is essential, since there is no plate to cover a slight miss.

Weighing 1.93kg, it suits a wall-hung or countertop basin with no tap hole drilled.
