The difference here is inside the cartridge. An eco step mechanism gives the lever a noticeable detent partway through its travel, so it settles at a modest flow by default and only opens fully if you push past the step. In practice that means around 2.2 litres per minute at 0.5 bar, which is plenty for hand washing and cuts hot water use sharply. Outwardly it is the same 160mm chrome block column with a flat blade spout.

A matching press-top waste is included, and the tap needs one tap hole.
