The Maxistore cylinders carry full economy 7 accreditation and are manufactured to BS1566:2002 (Part L). To ensure maximum efficiency the cylinder is foamed twice, which reduces the heat-loss values. After this Telford incorporated an header tank on top of the cylinder to remove the need for a feed tank in the roof space, thus improving free space in the roof, cutting down on installation times and also the ease of installation.

The insulation of the division between the two water sections ensures that heat transfer from the bottom to the top is down to a minimal and will then easily meet the requirements of BS3198:1981 Standards.
