Verona Fontessa Matt Black Tall High Rise Basin Mixer Tap (inc Waste)

Verona Fontessa Matt Black Tall High Rise Basin Mixer Tap with Waste

Countertop basins solve one design problem and quietly create another: a standard mixer ends up sitting too low against the raised rim. The Fontessa tall basin mixer is the collection's answer - the same round-tubed body and squared, right-angled spout drawn up to high-rise height, so the spout clears a vessel or countertop basin and delivers water into the bowl where it belongs. The matt black finish and cross-hatched knurling on the lever, spout tip and body give the basin area a crisp, engineered focal point, quarter-turn ceramic disc valves keep the action precise and drip-free, and a matching waste is included to complete the fit.

Product Features

• Tall, high-rise mono basin mixer supplied complete with a matching waste
• Raised spout height designed for countertop and vessel basins, where a standard mixer would sit too low
• Round-tubed body with a squared, right-angled spout and knurled detailing on the lever and spout tip
• Matt black finish - a confident contrast against white ceramics and pale tiles, and a natural fit for monochrome schemes
• Single lever operation - one-handed control of temperature and flow
• Quarter-turn ceramic disc valves give a smooth, precise action with no rubber washers to wear out and drip
• Solid brass construction for a tap that feels as substantial as it looks
• Deck mounted through a single tap hole with standard UK 1/2 inch BSP inlet connections
• Part of the Fontessa collection - matching standard basin mixer, bath filler and bath shower mixer available in the same matt black finish
• Requires a minimum working pressure of 1.0 bar - suited to combi boiler and pressurised (unvented) systems; a low-pressure gravity-fed system will need a pump to drive it properly
