The crossheads here repay a close look. Four slim pins radiate from a machined hub, each one ending in a flat round cap, so the handle is a piece of engineering rather than a nod to a Victorian pillar tap. They sit on a round column that arches into a 217mm spout, all of it in warm brushed brass with a soft grain that catches light without glaring, and the same finish carries onto the deck flange and the waste. A 134mm reach puts the flow over the centre of a pedestal, semi-pedestal or inset vanity basin.

One tap hole is all it needs, and the matching press-top waste is in the box.
