Soft matt black runs across the whole tap and down into the press-top waste plug, giving this basin mixer a quieter presence than a polished one, since it absorbs light rather than reflecting it. That suits concrete-effect tiles, oak vanity units and darker schemes generally. The body is a slim round column with the spout curving up to 224mm and dropping water 140mm forward of the base, and the mixing is done by two crosshead handles, each a simple four-armed cross with squared-off tips.

Only one tap hole is needed, and the same tap is made in chrome and brushed brass.
