Brushed brass against a dark wall is one of the easiest wins in an industrial scheme, and this Turbine mixer makes the most of it by putting three pieces of warm metal straight onto the tiling: a slim tube spout projecting 209mm, and a pair of valve wheels on round backplates either side of it. The wheels carry four open spokes inside a knurled ring, and turning one is a slow, positive movement you can manage with two fingers. Nothing sits on the basin itself, so the surface stays clear.

Three wall outlets are needed, with the valve bodies set behind the finished surface.
