Take the taps off the basin and the room changes: the deck stays clear, the bowl becomes the thing you look at, and the plumbing turns into a deliberate horizontal line across the wall. This chrome Turbine mixer does exactly that, with a 209mm tube spout flanked by two valve wheels, each an open four-spoke casting inside a knurled ring, set on plain round backplates. Cold, bright chrome keeps it on the industrial side rather than the ornamental one, and it works over a bath with no tap ledge as readily as over a basin.

Three wall outlets are needed, with the valve bodies set behind the finished tiling.
