As good as my original, but different

Purchased this as a straight replacement for what I thought was an exact replica of my original purchased just two years ago. Unfortunately the system of fitting the seat to the pan has changed very slightly, and the seat would not fit properly on the original fittings. This meant the pan had to come out, new fittings fitted, pan back in, which was not an easy job, and new sealant (after removing all the old sealant) applied. What should have been a 2 minute job putting a new seat on the old fittings turned into a 4 hour job. Nothing is ever easy.
