The Smiths Ecovector HL 4000 High Level Hydronic Fan Convector offers safety due to it's low surface temperature, and energy efficiency thanks to fan convector technology. Suitable for use with traditional boiler-fed systems as well as renewable technology such as heat pumps, the Smiths Ecovector HL 4000 High Level Hydronic Fan Convector is quiet in operation, as well as being fast and responsive to change. Fitted unobtrusively above head height, the Ecovector High Level range utilises dead wall space for ease of siting.

Fan convectors require connection to a wet central heating system and an electrical connection to run the fan. Hot water passes through the heat exchanger and heat is transfered to the aluminium fins. Cooler air is drawn in and heated before being expelled back into the room. This technology uses, on average, less than 2p of electricity per day. It means that a more even temperature gets distributed and the room will be heated much faster than a traditional panel radiator.

Low Surface Temperature

Fan convectors have very low surface temperatures and are not hot to the touch, unlike traditional radiators. This means that fan convectors are perfectly safe around children and the elderly.

Compact and Small

Fan convectors are considerably smaller than radiators of an equivalent output. They are designed to be installed in dead spaces - so the room does not have to be designed around the heating.
