Fluted Wet Room Screens

A fluted wet room screen uses textured glass with fine vertical ribs, sometimes referred to as reeded glass. The fluting softens the view through the screen, adding a touch of privacy without blocking the light, so your shower area still feels bright and open.

Fluted glass has become one of the defining bathroom trends of recent years, bringing a hint of Art Deco and boutique-hotel style to an otherwise simple wet room screen. Some designs flute the whole panel, while others pair a fluted section with clear glass for a lighter look. The ribbed surface is also good at disguising water marks between cleans.

Most fluted screens are made from 8mm toughened safety glass and fit like a standard wet room screen: a wall profile on one side and a bracing bar for stability. Add a matching return or deflector panel if you want extra splash protection.

Fluted wet room screens look particularly striking with brushed brass and matt black profiles, and they are also available in chrome and brushed bronze. Explore our top brands' fluted ranges today.
