Wet Room Screens with Deflectors

A wet room screen leaves an otherwise-cramped showering area open, giving you more room to relax and rejuvenate. A downside of this openness is that water splashing can be difficult to control. This is where the deflector panel comes in handy. A deflector panel attaches to the open end of a wet room screen, with the aim of deflecting water and acting as an additional barrier, which is especially important if you don't have a fully tanked bathroom.

Wet room deflector panels come in a variety of different designs and layouts. The current trend is for a concealed hinged panel, which is sometimes referred to as a swivel panel. This includes a large barrel hinge, which is partially obscured by the vertical profile strip of the deflector panel. An old favourite is the fixed return panel, which is typically at 90 degrees from the front screen, fixed in place. A hinged wet room return panel - sometimes referred to as a flipper panel - tends to include visible hinges like an internal door.

Hinged and swivel panels quite often move 180 degrees in total, which ensures you can angle the return panel to suit your needs.

Many of our top brands sell wet room screen and return panel packs in many different finishes, including matte black, chrome, and brushed brass. The latest trends also include other colour schemes such as brushed bronze and gunmetal. Brands' extensive ranges today.
