The spout on this wall mounted set projects 209mm, which is a long way for a basin tap and the reason the layout works: it has to cross the depth of a worktop or a thick vanity top before it gets over the bowl. Hot and cold are handled by two chrome crossheads on their own wall flanges, four pin spokes apiece with flat disc ends, with the valve bodies fitted out of sight behind the tiles. The tip of the spout turns down so the water lands centrally.

Because nothing lands on the basin itself, it opens up basins and countertop bowls that have no tap hole drilled in them.
